Kathaa collects voice recordings and transcripts created during sessions, along with elder profile information entered by caregivers (name, language, age, and optional life-context details). We also collect the email address and password used to create a caregiver account.
Session recordings and transcripts are used solely to generate memory archives for your family. Elder profile information is used to personalise conversations. We do not sell, share, or license your data to any third party.
All data is stored in Supabase (a Postgres-based cloud database). Audio files are stored in Supabase Storage. Your data is isolated to your account and protected by Row Level Security — other users cannot access it.
Session audio is transcribed using Sarvam AI (speech-to-text). Conversation responses are generated using Anthropic Claude. Text is sent to these services solely to operate the Kathaa feature; it is not used to train their models under our agreements.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing biz@dilyas.com.
Kathaa uses session cookies solely for authentication purposes. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
